Introduction

Water Analysis and Assessment Division

The Water Analysis and Assessment Division was established under Department of Water Resources according to the government reform on October 3 ^rd, 2002. The main mandates are to study, analyze, and suggest approaches and measures, and to cooperate with stakeholders to prevent and solve water crisis problems (flood and drought).

Under Water Analysis and Assessment Division, the Mekhala Center was established to facilitate, tack, and propose solutions for water resource problems by applying state of the art technologies to tack, analyze, and forecast water situations such as flood and drought situations.
